You sign up to Plathea as a user with your email, in a few seconds. No credit card required.

Create your restaurant
From your profile, in the 'Your restaurants' section, you create the restaurant you own. There you find both the places where you work as an employee and those you own.

The Pro trial starts
As soon as you create the restaurant, the 14-day free trial on the Pro plan starts on its own. You try Plathea on your real restaurant right away.

What happens after 14 days
When the trial ends, the restaurant profile goes on hold: your data stays there, but the features are locked until you choose how to continue. You decide, at your own pace.
Choose a plan and restart
You activate Essential, Pro or Business and the restaurant is operational again right away, with all the data you already entered during the trial.
Leave it on hold
Not ready to decide? You can leave the profile deactivated without paying anything. After a period of inactivity it is then deleted automatically.
Delete everything
If you prefer, you delete the profile whenever you want. No penalty, no commitment: you just close it.

Questions about the free trial
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day trial starts without entering any payment method: you try first and pay only if you decide to continue.
How long is the trial and what does it include?
It lasts 14 days and gives you access to the Pro plan of Plathea, i.e. almost the entire system: digital menu, reservations, food cost, inventory, CRM, marketing and analytics.
How does the trial start?
You sign up as a user, then from your profile, in the 'Your restaurants' section, you create the restaurant you own. As soon as you create it, the 14-day Pro trial starts automatically.
What happens when the 14 days end?
The restaurant profile goes on hold and the features are locked. From there you can choose a plan and reactivate it right away (with the data already entered), leave it deactivated without paying, or delete it. No automatic charge is triggered.
Do I sign up as a restaurant or as a private user?
You always sign up as a private user. It's from your profile that you then create the restaurant: that way the same account can be both the owner of one place and an employee at another.
Can I keep using Plathea for free after the trial?
The free trial lasts 14 days. To keep using the restaurant you need one of the plans (Essential €50, Pro €100 or Business €250 per month). If you don't choose a plan, the profile stays on hold at no cost.
Can I use the cash register during the trial?
Yes. The fiscal cash register is an add-on: by purchasing the receipt and invoice packages you activate it and can try it directly during the 14-day trial, together with the rest of the platform.
